Decorated with traditional brown tartan soft furnishings and soft leather couches, our cosy living area is the perfect spot to unwind. Sink into comfort while enjoying a glass of wine by the warmth of the log burning stove.
Step outside onto the large deck that stretches the length of the cottage – the ideal space to sip your morning coffee while watching wildlife and birds around Loch Linnhe. In the evening, wrap up in one of the provided blankets to enjoy the stunning sunsets, followed by stargazing under our clear skies.
With direct access to the lochside, you can enjoy a fire by the water or bring your own water-based activities, such as kayaking, SUP, or canoeing, right from your doorstep. For those feeling adventurous, simply pack your swimsuit and take a refreshing cold-water swim from the front door.

What is your cancellation policy?
A deposit equivalent of one night’s accommodation is payable at the time of booking. This is non refundable. If your booking is less than 30 days away, full payment is required and this is non refundable. Full payment is due 30 days before your holiday. If you cancel within 30 days of your holiday, this money will be kept unless the accommodation is resold. We suggest you take out insurance for your holiday.
Do you allow pets?
Unfortunately, we do not allow any pets at Heron Bay Holidays
Are bedlinen and towels provided?
Heron Bay Holidays provide all bedlinen and towels.
Do you have direct access to the water?
Yes! There is direct access to the loch which only Heron Bay Residents have access to. We can provide everything you need for a fire at the shore, with marshmallows and hot chocolate, or bring your own canoes, kayaks, paddleboards for your own fun. We also recommend swimming in the loch.
Do you provide wood for the fire?
We provide an initial box of wood for the fire. We can provide a further box for a cost of £10.
Are children welcome?
Children over the age of 5 are welcome. We do not have the facilities for young babies.
